MLB Network said Boyle throws 100 plus more easily than anyone in the draft. He topped out at 102 MPH.

Boyle sounds like the Dave Kingman of pitching.

There's a video of Boyle sawing a guy's bat in half. Impressive, sure, but we've seen that before.........

Except the guy had a metal bat........

So much for the Reds relying on Kyle Boddy to steal us some undrafted FA pitchers. Sounds like we're going heavy on pitching in this really shortened draft

Rarely, if ever does a 6'7" power guy have control when he's drafted. Some guys harness it eventually, some don't.

That’s why players like that usually get drafted in the 5th round

    Kyle Boddy

MLB Draft period is over, but there's a lot more to it. Post-draft period incoming and a lot of excellent talent will be there.

We went 50/50 on hitters and pitchers.

They probably want to get some guys for the new hitting development team as well.

It’s super weird that the draft is just over now.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

The UDFA signing period starts Sunday at 9 AM EDT. So I assume Reds lobbying effort is in full swing now.

My dad got to enjoy 3 Reds World Championships by the time he was my age. So far, I've only gotten to enjoy one. Step it up Redlegs!
