16 team playoffs apparently and DH! Let's hope we can get at least 65 games.

If true, it means more teams make the playoffs than don’t.

You mean the billionaire owners stopped crying foul and agreed to pay the players because.....the losses (if there are any) wouldn't actually be that impactful. What a concept, what a world.

Looks like something that pot-smoking friend in college who never washes his clothes and is always over-weight and never has a girlfriend would say is his favorite thing to make and ask you if you want to share.

Uh, no thanks. Not that stoned.

Yep! Philosophical arguments aside...keep in mind that limited format playoffs really only help the top tier teams and high market teams like the NYY, Astros, BoSox etc.

It seems Tony Clark disagrees with what Rob Manfred had to say today about the two having agreed on the framework for a new deal.

Once again, Major League Baseball and the Players Association do not agree on what actually happened during their negotiations. Now, they can’t even agree on whether they reached a new deal in principle.

Early word is players don’t love the 60 games and some are even calling it a proposal not the agreement owners see it as. Owners view it as an agreed-to deal with players’ option being to turn it down, whereupon they could get a 50-game mandated season as allowed by March 26 deal

The outside doesn't look great either. No way I'd feed that to my cat.
