    4-Man Rotation

If the players and owners do agree on this 60 game proposal I think it would be wise for us to roll with a 4 man rotation for the shortened season. 60 games with 10 off days I think it would be easy to maintain. Stick Wade Miley in the bullpen for long relief and occasional 5th starter. With Castillo, Gray, Bauer, and Disco we easily have a top 5 rotation in baseball with no weak spots.

A 4-man rotation is the least of my concerns right now. I just want to see a first pitch.

Sounds like 60 games in 66 days. No, there will not be a 4 man rotation.

You guys are going to be shocked when Miley goes on a hot streak and win the Cy Young. I will be too.

Probably a better chance of a 6 man rotation.

Then you better have 6 really good starters.

Because with only 60 games you can't afford to go on a bad streak for a week or two, or have a weak starter that looses you 10 games over the 60 season.

So don’t use a starter that LOSES every start because he can’t get LOOSE.

OK, I wasn't proofreading for accuracy when I threw that comment up.

Now that we have handled English 101, back to baseball, something far more pleasurable.

We have a manager that tends to pull starters quickly. I see him using all 5, but he may gave a shorter leash with Miley for example. I'm even excited for just the spring training games.

Wilbur Wood with 376 knuckleball innings. Was that the year he pitched both ends of a doubleheader?

Saw Commander Cody at the Agora in Columbus. My favorite song is “Mama Hated Diesels”.

DH this year - pulling starters is just not going to be a thing. American league ball and I am all for it. Look for complete games from Bauer early on if he is on a roll.

Were talking only 15 starts a piece for the top 4 starters. We just can't afford to lose much. Understand Miley going a month in the rotation to build up arm strength but after that were all in. I imagine most all teams will be in this mode.
