Watching the 2007 Reds vs. Marlins game on MLB-TV. Aaron Harang pitching. Harang was one of my favorites. A decent pitcher in a time of not-so-decent pitchers. I remembered how many times he was the only bright spot on the mound in 2007. That 72-90 team was horrible and the management and pitching were equally horrible, except for Harang. This community centered guy was let go so they could bring up some more fodder. I admit, I shed a tear when they let Harang go. I did not cry when they fired Jerry Narron, who like Bryan Price, should never been a manager. I hope those days are gone.
