(Probably) No minor league trades this season

As part of new rules for 2020, no minor leaguers can be traded unless they are part of the 60 man roster. So probably no trades that include a minor leaguer, although if it includes one it's probably a hot name.

No suspects will be dealt, but deals for good prospects should still be available.

A 60 man roster will have plenty of minor leaguers as teams simply don’t have that many non-minor leaguers.

You can move minor league guys to the 60, then trade them.

But they would have to remain in the acquiring team’s 60-man player pool. You can’t trade for him and just stash him, he must take up a spot in your 60-man pool.
