Except that ppl can still test positive for well over a month even asymptomatic, which would eat into a good chunk of the season. If you are symptomatic then its even worse. I think the Braves will be without Freeman for at least 6-8 weeks IMO based on how bad his symptoms....which is basically most of the season.

    No it wouldn't.

Except that having it is no guarantee they won't get it again.

And many times, there are permanent long term effects even after recovery.

And of course, unless they are in a bubble, they will pass the virus along to whoever they come in contact with.

Other than that though, you might be on to something.

Eh...not sure I would agree with all of that. People seem to conflate "possible" with "likely".

I'll round up my credible sources from doctors and scientists for all of this, and you round up your opinions.

You come to a room with 3 doors. Each with a note written on it.

Door 1: Is possible you or others you come in contact with will die or require hospitalization if you enter.
Door 2: It's likely you or others you come in contact with will die or require hospitalization if you enter.
    Door 3: All good

Are you really weighing the semantics of "possible" vs "likely" in that kind of life/death scenario?

    I like the '70, '90, '10 reference, but wouldn't that be every 20 years, not 10?

Usually played out in the College World Series that way.

    Re: Reds 60 Game Schedule

So Reds get 2 games out of 36 games or 72 teams. That's still below the MLB average (2.4). Pirates 4 games, Cubs and Brewers 3 games, Cards 1 game!

Fox Sports Ohio sent a press release announcing they will televise all 60 #Reds regular-season games, however it will not televise either of next week’s exhibitions against the Tigers
