Reds 60 Game Schedule

Heard the schedule will be announced Monday 7-5-20.
Reds Opening Day is expected to be July 24th.

Reds might play 17 days in a row before an off day.

I imagine with expanded rosters and the desire to limit traveling that this will happen for many teams.

I'm hearing 17 games straight to start the season before 1st day off.

Should know tomorrow on that one.

Also hearing 5 man rotation through that 17 game stretch with the use of "fireman" out of the pen early if a starter gets in trouble at all.

You can literally hear the tentativeness in the interviews with both players and managers. This season may start, but it certainly won't finish.

100% it starts, 85% it finishes - all the way through the playoffs including Cincy's playoff run. The starting rotation will carry them.

MLB schedule comes out today. Tigers manager Ron Gardenhire said he's driving to Cincinnati to open the season. Did not ask if he's stopping at Skyline Chili on the way.

so much for the reports that the reds would open on the road against the cardinals. i like this new report better.

Opening with the Tigers is good. They're a weak sister in the 60-game race to the finish, and the Reds need to start fast.

Boyd should be pretty good. Crazy that today you can have an ERA north of 4 and still be a top 50 starter in all of baseball. If we can beat Boyd on Opening Day, we should have a great chance of taking the series.

I guess we'll know for sure soon, but I'm seeing multiple sportswriters saying that the Reds will open at home vs. the Tigers.
