Tyler Mahle and Jose DeLeon just became much more important.

So did Nate Jones (or any number of NRI relievers).

They did not test positive. They had to wait on their results an extra day. Let's not confuse the two things.

That B squad has a horrible pitching staff. Maybe they have a starter caliber OF or two, but the rest of the position players are either not ready for MLB yet or stink.
Any MLB team would demolish the Reds' B squad, that's why they are on the B squad and not on the Reds' A squad.
[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob

Nick Castellanos, who missed time in spring with illness, said he tested negative for the COVID-19 antibody.

Castellanos said he wanted to play in the National League so he didn't have to DH

Ervin and Winker are similarly bad defenders to Castellanos. I hope the Reds just plug Castellanos in LF every day and then split Winker and Ervin at DH.

Winker is comparable and arguably worse, Ervin is not.

Ervin career dWAR is -1.0 in 177 games. dWAR per 162 games is -0.9
Winker career dWAR is -3.3 in 190 games. dWAR per 162 ames is -2.8
Castellanos career dWAR -7.7 in 798 games. dWAR per 162 gams is -1.6

Surprisingly Ervin had a worse UZR/150 in LF than CF last year. He played a pretty significant amount of innings at both positions, too. I would also argue that based upon the per 162 game stats you posted that Ervin is pretty similar to Castellanos defensively and Castellanos is newer to the OF and had been improving over his time in RF.
