Biddle pitching and Davidson crushes his second pitch into CF grass. Gets 3 quietly after that including Garcia and Jankowski.

Davidson with a bomb to CF that went about 430. I almost forgot about this guy. Wonder if he has a shot to make the 30 man. Could certainly use a HR threat off the bench late in a game.

Big fan of what he can provide the Reds this year.

Suarez goes UD on Raisel. Looks like that shoulder is healthy...

Raisel K's Cast on a foul tip to seal the win. Reds over the Reds 6-2. We are still .500 in Spring Training 2.0...

Am I correct that even with this 60-man pool, rules for options and starting clocks remain the same? Getting an ious to see Garcia in the mineup. He looks like he belongs, but not at the cost of shortening his time as a Red.

Yep, it would be much smarter to wait till next year.

#Reds David Bell said Jose Garcia could "contribute as soon as this year"

MLB will pipe in crowd noise and the #Reds expect to start using it today for their scrimmages

FYI, today's #Reds scrimmage is scheduled for 5:45 and slated to pitch are Gray, Lorenzen, Jones, Kuhnel, Stephenson, Carpenter

David Bell says it's important to have Jose Garcia around big-leaguers in camp because he could "contribute this year.

John Fay asks about an issue that I've been wondering about lately: What happens during the season if a player's tests results are delayed the way we've seen happen a few times during Spring Training 2.0?

“We’re trying to understand – the good thing is it’s not the regular season,” Bell said. “Any time that has happened, we’ve been extremely cautious in the way we’ve, as a team and organization, gone about it because we can afford to do that, and our No. 1 priority is to do whatever it takes to stay healthy.

“Now, during this process, what does that mean when it’s delayed? What does it mean when it’s pending? Our goal is to get a great understanding of what that means, and by the time the season starts, be able to make the best decision for each individual and for our team. If there’s no added risk and they are still delayed or pending, then we’ll move forward with having them around the team.

LOL Votto with his trademark lean in with the right shoulder trying to get hit by a Gray FB up and in...I guess its instinct at this point. 2 more walks for Votto today.
