Castellanos, Moustakas, and Winker have all seemingly slimmed down from seasons past. Or perhaps weren't as big as I imagined.

Moose definitely. He mentioned it in an article said he lost like 15 lbs in quarantine.

Suarez too. I noticed it more with him than anyone.

Joey Votto made his first out of the summer -- 5 walks, 2 singles and now a strikeout

Tejay Antone and Brooks Raley looked pretty good. The Reds could really use another tandem starter type and another lefty option. They need to pitch against the big league hitters next time.

#Reds manager David Bell said Nick Senzel hyperextended his left elbow, is day-to-day. He is expected back in the lineup Monday or Tuesday.

Bell added that if it were regular season, Senzel would likely be playing today

Today's scrimmage is one that may prove interesting. How many innings will Sims and Mahle get? How ready is Miley? Is Reed ready to take that next step (and stay healthy)?

There's an actual umpire behind the plate for today's scrimmage, which should be up and running on http://Reds.com now
