Reds Projected 2020 Win Total is Disrespectful

In a wide-open NL Central with another 20 games guaranteed against a weak AL Central, the Reds are in good position to win well over 31 games. Given that they were one of baseball's unluckiest teams last year—they went 24-33 in one-run games and had a run differential of only minus-10 despite going 75-87—the Reds are likely going to be more competitive than many casual fans would think.

In what's likely to be a chaotic season, a win total of 31.5 is slightly disrespectful for a talented Cincinnati team.

In case anyone is wondering that amounts to an 85-77 record over a 162 game season.

    Not outrageous/disrespectful.

Using that same conversion that site sets the O/U on LAD and NYY at 101.5 wins over a 162 game season. Baltimore at 55 wins.

Granted the 60 game season is bound to be peculiar...I think if you placed 3 equal bets, 2 for the under for NYY/LAD and 1 for the over on Balt...I think you'd come out ahead.

Not only disrespectful but offensive. In fact, I think this whole "winning" idea disparages those who don't. Time for a societal change on what exactly count as "success."

Send the above message as an official statement from the Reds and MLB will immediately ship the WS trophy straight to GABP out of guilt for "not getting it, but now we do. Here, Here for Cincy!"
