    Reds and MLB Props

    Odds:

Reds 20:1 to win the World Series

Reds 12:1 to win the NL

Reds to win the NL Central: +325

Reds win Total - Over Under: 32.5

Over/Under on Total MLB complete games thrown: 1.5

Over/Under on most losses by any one team: 40.5

Most RBI in the season by a player - Over/Under 47.5 (Votto OU 19.5 - that made me lol)

Most HR by a player: Over Under 19.5

Odds the season is completed: +110

That would come to 88 wins.

I was referring to the 88 wins. I also believe the Reds will do very well.

All it takes are a couple of rain-shortened games. Managers are going to ride their best pitchers in late August and September too. And young guys (Bieber, Giolito, et al.) who are ready early. Fearless prediction-- Pitcher most likely to throw a complete game: our own Trevor Bauer.

Over/Under on most losses by any one team: 40.5
Tough call. Especially if Baltimore signs Puig.

Most RBI in the season by a player - Over/Under 47.5 (Votto OU 19.5 - that made me lol)
Somebody's going to get hot. The DH will help.
As to Votto, I'm guessing a lineup with better hitters in the 9th spot will help, as will a focus on a 60-game sprint.

Most HR by a player: Over Under 19.5
Again, DH will help, as will pitchers who aren't ready and will take longer. (As will manager decisions to bring in lesser relief arms as long relievers/ piggyback starters.)

Votto ops'd like .715 w RISP last year

Over the last 3-4 years, he has driven in an abysmal % of the runners on base when he is up. One of the worst in the league given the number of chances.

His SLG % over the last few years is .413 - Corey Patterson owns a career .400 SLG

I can see votto driving in around 15 guys, including himself, in 2020

RBI are almost always about the people around you. Hopefully, this season, there will be more opportunities for Votto to drive in runs.
