The Memorial PGA in Dublin Ohio..the return of Tiger

Can Tiger get #83? I watched his interview on Golf Channel and he seems ready and focused. He said he didn't play any of the other recent PGA tournaments thus far because he wanted to see how the return to golf played out and out of an abundance of caution with the pandemic. Makes sense...

He also played with JT today and the report is that he looked healthy and happy.

I’d be shocked if Tiger wins this week. He’s been off for too long and the “regulars” are lighting it up. It’ll be a tougher course this week compared to last week, but these guys are full steam ahead. This will be a tune up for Tiger getting ready for the PGA Championship in early August.

I don't think he will win but a top 20 finish is plausible.

Not a good day for betting with DJ and Hideki having horrible first days. Spieth was solid but I’ve backed him every week since his last victory 3 years ago so I’ve seen this before.

Tiger with 4 bogeys and a double bogey so far today through 11. He has to play these last 7 holes in 2 under just to make the projected cut

You win some, you lose some. Tiger needs to rally late for you.

You got a shot. Need those afternoon guys to play well so the cut line doesn't move back! That 20 footer on his 17th hurt.

Gonna be close Tiger is tied for 68th now, was tied for 72nd just like 20 minutes ago. Needs to be tied for 65 to make the cut. 11 guys at +2 still out there. Of those 11 only JT stands out, there rest look like journeymen or no-names.

I have a feeling those greens are gonna be super fast in the afternoon as it is really hot and sunny out there. 90 and sunny this afternoon in Cbus.

Phil plays 16 and 17 five shots over par, but creeps back to just make the cut line at +2.

Tiger's chances are improving by the minute. Don't throw that ticket away just yet.
