I would go with Davidson but I would understand if it was Blandino. Or just put them both in a cage with various weapons and let them decide it the old fashioned way. 2 men enter...

If so, we’re down to Davidson v Blandino v a wild card for the final spot.

Areas of need IMO are backup shortstop and LH bench hitter with thump.
Davidson has hit 39 of his 49 career HR's against RHP in his career. Thats in 672 career AB's. That's a higher HR rate than he has against LHP. It's just that he hasn't hit RHP for average.

I'd go with Blandino (or is it India i can never tell them apart?). Blandino for the versatility.

If you’re looking for a hitter against RHP you don’t keep Matt Davidson. You get a lefty bat. Matt’s OPS against RHP is .702.

If his HR output against LHP isn’t that great, then he shouldn’t make the team. That would be his primary role.
He has hit .804 OPS against lefties, which is ok, not dominant. Did hit well in practice games/scrimmages.

The Payton move does leave a 40 man roster slot open.

Nate Jones fills that spot. But they can make room on the forty pretty easily.

I wonder if the Reds are signing any free agents.

One can speculate they are looking for something from outside the organization.

But it’s impossible to tell, so many odd things happen in final cut downs.

Nate Jones takes the Schebler spot. Payton leaves an open spot.

Perhaps they will leave Mahle off. They may want to stretch him out so that he can move into the rotation if someone goes down.
