Yes, there is, and Death Certificate criteria isn't uniform.

    https://cbs12.com/news/local/man-who...florida-report

According to the report, Orange County Health Officer Dr. Raul Pino was asked whether two coronavirus victims in their 20s had any underlying medical conditions that could have potentially made them more susceptible to the virus.

Pino's answer was that one of the two people who was listed as a COVID death actually died in a motorcycle crash. Despite health officials knowing the man died in a motorcycle crash, it is unclear whether or not his death was removed from the overall count in the state.

Dr. Pino tells FOX 35 that one "could actually argue that it could have been the COVID-19 that caused him to crash."

I'm guessing someone's going to say this is "Fox" and pretend.

Yes, but Germany is usually the first country brought up, plus I have a lot of personal contacts there. But feel free to pick the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Denmark, Switzerland, etc. Go crazy. Even better, go there in person and spend a year, and see why they call us the balloon people.

    US Population: 320,000,000
    Germany Population: 81,000,000

    US Covid Cases: 5,032,179
    Germany Covid Cases: 215,210

    US Covid Deaths: 162,804
    Germany Covid Deaths: 9,552

There is no way that the way they count deaths or the obesity rate of these countries accounts for this difference.

The deaths are counted much differently, even compared to other European countries. It’s just the German way of doing things- to count as a Covid death, the coroner must state that definitively the person died from coronavirus. Not so here.

Really, try to do some research.

That's "conspiracy theory" and gets in the way of "Trump Derangement Syndrome"

NOTHING must get in the way of THE NARRATIVE. Not facts, not numbers, nothing.

    https://theconversation.com/covid-19...to-know-142305

    Why South Africa?

The main reason is that the legacy of vaccines shows that they don’t necessarily work similarly across different populations. So if we want to be one of the early adopters, in terms of implementing vaccination against COVID-19 as part of our immunisation programme, we really need to generate data applicable to the local context.

A number of past vaccines have been shown to be highly efficacious in high income settings. But when they’ve gone on to be evaluated in low and middle income settings, they were found to be much less efficacious and, at times, not efficacious at all.

So if we want to make informed decisions at an early stage about whether these vaccines are going to be of benefit to people in South Africa, it’s critical that we undertake the clinical evaluation during the start of the entire programme, rather than at the latter stage. Waiting for results to come in from other studies would just lead to a lag in terms of the timing when vaccines would be introduced in South Africa as well as other low and middle income countries.

I'm sorry. I know I'm conspiratorial, but I'm not really buying this idea that some huge pharma conglomerate is ultimately interested in the efficacy of their drug in countries that can't pay for it.

    And.

Only about 10% of vaccines that go into clinical trials are eventually licensed for use. Right now there’ are approximately 200 vaccines that are being developed for COVID-19. It would be a huge accomplishment if, over the next 12 to 18 months, we are successful showing that even one out of every 20 (5%) of the vaccines that go into human studies are safe and provide some protection against COVID-19.

There's not going to be a vaccine any time soon. So are we ok with sitting around for years?

    https://www.npr.org/sections/goatsan...e-end-of-polio

As the global effort to eradicate polio gets tantalizing close to its goal, the program is running in to new challenges.

One of the biggest obstacles this year is the proliferation of so-called "vaccine-derived" polio outbreaks.

Conventional polio caused by the traditional form of the disease is now only occurring in two countries in the world — Afghanistan and Pakistan. The World Health Organization calls this form "wild" polio and there've been roughly 100 cases so far this year. This is a tiny number compared to the 350,000 cases that occurred globally before the Global Polio Eradication Initiative was launched in 1988.

But what's troubling now is that there are currently more kids being paralyzed by cases of vaccine-derived polio than by the original "wild" variety.

I gotta hand it to my mom, she did not encourage hand-washing.

Thousands of coronavirus deaths are set to be wiped from the government's official count, it was claimed today.

Health Secretary Matt Hancock last month ordered an urgent review into how daily death counts are calculated in England because of a 'statistical flaw'.

Academics found Public Health England's methods meant ministers count victims as anyone who died after ever testing positive for Covid-19 — even if they were hit by a bus after beating the disease months later.

US death totals will probably be reduced in half. That gets us to the usual annual flu total.

Africans are so lucky to not be left out.

https://allianceforscience.cornell.e...ial/“The reason we are doing this is that we want the people in Africa to access this drug just like the people in the northern hemisphere,” Prof. Johnny Mahlangu, one of the scientists leading the trial, told Ghana-based Joy FM in an interview. “We don’t just want the northern hemisphere to have the drug, have it for its people, and then we are actually left on our own. If we participate in the development of this vaccine, we would be seen as partners. When it becomes available, partners would also benefit, including participants in the study. So, the benefits are huge.”

Is nobody bothered by this, really?:

    https://off-guardian.org/2020/08/05/...rse-and-worse/

    1. AUSTRALIA’S CURFEW
The state of Victoria, and the city of Melbourne, have declared a “state of disaster” and instituted a lockdown and curfew. The state’s 6.3 million inhabitants, nearly 5 million in the city, have to follow these restrictions:

Workplaces and shops that are not deemed essential will close or reduce their hours from Wednesday midnight but services such as supermarkets, petrol stations and doctors will remain open.
“Permitted” or essential workers will have to carry a special permit to work outside the home.
There is a nightly curfew in force: between the hours of 8pm and 5am you cannot leave home except for work or to get or provide urgent care.
You must stay within five kilometres of your home to shop or exercise.
If you leave the house to exercise, it should be for only one hour each day.
While up to two people can still exercise together, people should shop on their own – groups in public, even from the same household, are no longer allowed.
Schools will shift to remote learning except for vulnerable students and children of permitted workers.
Childcare centres will close to all but vulnerable children and those of essential workers.
Funerals can continue with a maximum of 10 people but weddings are off except for rare, compassionate reasons.
Since march, Australia has had 247 Covid19 deaths, across the entire country. The median age of these deaths is over 80.

    2. UK DCOTOR: “MEN SHOULD TAKE FEMALE HORMONES TO PREVENT COVID19 INFECTION”
Dr Amir Khan appeared on ITV’s Good Morning Britain today, suggesting men – who are notionally at increased risk of coronavirus infection – should take a contraceptive pill filled with oestrogen. His theory, which he did not support with research, is that the oestrogen will boost the male immune system.

Hormone treatment is a big deal, potentially dangerous and seriously life-changing. To suggest its use to treat a disease which is harmless in over 95% of cases is borderline insanity, especially with no research to back it up. We tweeted about at the time, but GMB’s twitter account has since deleted the video.

At a time when doctors are named-and-shamed (and even fired) for suggesting a known safe medicine like HCQ, or sites like ours are branded “misinformation” for pointing out that PCR tests are unreliable, that a man should appear on national television making such ridiculous claims boggles the mind.

    3. MANDATORY MASKS WEREN’T ENOUGH
Dr Deborah Birx recently announced that people in high-risk areas or multi-generational homes should consider wearing masks at home as well.

Elsewhere, The Guardian ran an article titled “You’re already wearing a mask – now consider a face shield and goggles”, which echoes Dr Fauci claiming that “perfect” virus protection would involve wearing visors or googles over your eyes.

    4. DOOR TO DOORS TESTS IN LEICESTER
Independent Journalist Anna Brees recently posted this image to twitter:

It has since been confirmed genuine. In the UK city of Leicester they are literally going door-to-door to test people. The mayor of Leicester said on the Leicester council website:

Testing is vitally important as it provides us with the information we need to track the virus […] That’s why we’re helping to run the biggest testing operation in the country, mobilising around 500 volunteers to support door-to-door testing, particularly in areas of the city where positive test results have been higher.

That’s not all the testing news either, new 90 minute tests are set to be used in schools as soon as possible, with a DNA based test set to be rolled out nation wide in September which will “eliminate false negatives”.

There is not one word in the article about “eliminating” false positives, which are very common in all PCR-based testing. So prepare for a huge wave of “new cases” when these tests enter wide circulation.

    5. WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM PUSHING “IMMUNITY PASSPORTS”
If you don’t like being forced to wear masks (and/or visors), or being placed under house arrest or (for some reason) under a curfew, or indeed, having to take hormone treatments…well don’t worry. Because the World Economic Forum has the solution – immunity passports.

This is not a new idea, it’s been floating around for months, but now the WEF is actually pushing an app that…

uses blockchain technology to store encrypted data from individual blood tests, allowing users to prove that they have tested negative for COVID-19.

It goes on to say that using this kind of app is the only solution to getting everything back to (the old) normal:

CovidPass could also allow hotels, cinemas, theatres, sporting and concert venues to reopen safely.

If you think this all sounds like something from a dystopian novel, well you’re right. But there’s a silver lining. The app which uses your medical history to decide if you’re allowed to travel will be real environmentally friendly:

CovidPass commits to mandatory carbon offsetting for each flight passenger, to preserve the environmental benefits of reduced air travel during the crisis.

    So there’s that, at least.

    *

It’s not hard to see the pattern taking shape here. Increasingly strict social controls on what you can wear, where you can go, when you can go there and so on and so on…and then the proposed solution.

A brief test and a little app that tracks your movement, or labels you nice and clean, a brand new vaccination for anybody who wants it (and most of the people who don’t) and then we can get back to normal.

It is manipulative blackmail of the worst kind, and it appears to be working.

The authors have used statistical techniques to better identify deaths due to COVID, applying the excess death framework more robustly and controlling for other factors that affect mortality. The key findings are as follows:

Actual deaths due to COVID are some 54% or 63% lower than implied by the standard excess deaths measure, and reported excess deaths likely include a significant number of non-COVID deaths.

While it is well known that COVID deaths are concentrated in the elderly, the study finds them to be particularly acute in the very elderly (75-84 and 85+ years old).

Over the lockdown period as a whole Government policy has increased mortality rather than reduced it.

In Germany if someone dies of a heart attack while on a ventilator fighting COVID does that count as a COVID death or heart attack death? If it counts as a heart attack death it sounds like the Germans are doing it wrong to me.

If someone is dying of pancreatic cancer, but they catch pneumonia and that's the last straw, does that go down as a cancer death or a pneumonia death? Never really thought about it.
