Apparently Juan Soto was retested multiple times today and was negative. So it's very possible that his first positive test was a false positive as he is asymptomatic. He can't play today though because he needs 2 negative tests in a row 24 hours apart.

Either this or some variant of flattening the curve is sure to be the overworked Twitter joke of the week. Somebody needs to do one of those synchronized videos with Mark Mallory's heater from way back when.

Not even half a game in and I've already had enough of A-Rod.

I’ve had enough of Angel Hernandez - what a disgrace. Several bad missed calls - what a huge Opening Night for MLB and they let him call balls and strikes?

So the line of storms came from the west and the lightning has been intense for about an hour- it hit a tree outside of my brother in law's house about 30 miles from the stadium, I'm probably 10-15 miles from the stadium and its been a light show or about 30 minutes. The delay will be at least an hour because it is crazy outside.

This Nationals lineup is pretty meh even when they get Soto back. I don't think they are a lock to make the postseason. Scherzer has struggled tonight as well.

In case torrential rain hits before this game is “official,” remember there’s one more new rule this year:

This game would not be rained out!

It would be suspended and all stats would count. Then they’d finish it Saturday.

Expendable. They have 60 guys to choose from.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!
