I'll be rooting for the the Rays also, in spite of them having the AL advantage of the extra day of rest. Dodgers win on two 8 pitch HR ABs, and hitting in the hole left by the shift for 2 RBIs, although Muncy should have been called out at home for bashing into the catcher who had left plenty of path to the plate for him. Bad base-running cost the Braves dearly in two games.
All the WS games show a start time of 8:08 pm ET.
It doesn't happen all that often in baseball. Since the advent of the wild card it's only happened in 2013, 1999 and 1995. Kind of surprising to see it happen with the playoffs expanded out to eight teams per league.

Tough morning at my house. Daughter loves baseball and the Braves more than just about anything else. Had hoped that her baseball team could win a WS her senior year of HS just like mine did at the same age.
Fortunately for everyone, the sun did indeed come up in Atlanta today. The sting will linger but there are plenty of reasons for the locals to count the days until pitchers and catchers report in February. They have many of the pieces in place to get over the top.
Smart, keep letting the games get over at midnight.
