And they won again last night beating the Mets. They are 7-1 now...amazing. Schafer threw 2 scoreless inning last night for them

Pirates Derek Holland just allowed 4 homers in the first 11 pitches of the game.

Cueto with a no no thru 5 and in the 6th Hunter Pence loses a high fly ball in the lights and missed a routine fly ball by 35 ft

I'm watching the game. What a shame for Cueto to lose his bid for the no hitter like that.

Can't hold it against Pence though

No, took him though into the stretch where he couldn’t shimmy and shake and such and he lost the corners....then gave up a HR but should’ve already been 3 outs

    BRING BACK JAY BRUCE!!!

If the NL keeps the DH for 2021 and beyond I’d absolutely love to see the Reds sign Jay Bruce. He is a great guy, fan friendly, and could still hit 30 HR playing half his games in GABP. He has already made his $100 Million in his career and maybe he would sign with a hometown discount to come home. He is a free agent after the 2020 season and would fit PERFECT in the 6th hole in place of Winker, Colon, Ervin, or whoever else -war player Bell keeps plugging in there. His value will prob be way down, maybe we could get him for like $12 Mil for 2 years?

I know his ERA is ugly, but he is throwing well this season when you watch him....as in he throws and looks great, then has just made a couple mistakes that have cost him. Also, he has started 4 games, and all are good offensive teams (Dodgers, Padres, Rockies, Dodgers). He has one more year after this season @ $22 Million per season....do you think someone will take on his salary at the trade deadline or offseason? Adding him to a good rotation could make a team a much tougher out in the playoffs.

I wouldn't mind reacquiring Bruce, but you're wrong about Winker. I'd rather have Winker as the DH. Bruce would be a nice spot lefty bat off the bench if he's cheap though. Something this team really needs.

I saw where an Astros-A’s game went 13 innings the other night. With the new extra innings rules, that’s pretty long.

Derek Dietrich has requested and was granted his release by the Cubs so he can pursue a big-league opportunity. Cubs 60-man at 59.

Indians pitcher Zach Plesac sent home to Cleveland after going out with friends in Chicago on Saturday night in violation of team rules and league’s health and safety protocols.

Plesac strikes me as the type who would do something stupid like that...good for MLB. He should be suspended though, he just pitched last night so it's not much of a punishment if he doesn't miss a start.
