Ron Roenicke is out as Red Sox manager. Cue the Alex Cora speculation
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Alot of people are suggesting Chaim Bloom should get to pick whoever he wants to manage next season there's a reason they chose to steal him from the Rays.

Doing a preliminary glance over season stats...

Have to admit I’m glad Alex Wood fizzled out for the Dodgers this year. If he had a good year that would have been a kick in the nuts.

Yankees who led the league in average, OB% and OPS in same season:

    Babe Ruth
    Lou Gehrig
    D.J LeMahieu

LeMahieu first player in modern era to win batting titles in both leagues

A real shame to see Jose Altuve with a .630 OPS.

Unless Bloom also signs a new pitching staff, I already feel sorry for that manager.
