Hard pass on the Cubs and Cardinals.

    The rest are fine though.

My hopes: Reds win it all. I'd like to see the Cubs and Cardinals eliminated in round 1.

My fear is that the Cubs sneak away with a title.

fangraphs gives the Reds a better shot at the WS than the Cubs (6.1% chance for the Reds and only 3.6% for the Cubs). The Reds also have higher chances of winning the LDS and LCS.

Let's hope fangraphs is right about the Cubs!

I have a hard time imagining this Cubs team, which is thin everywhere, winning four rounds of playoffs. Anything can happen. They drew the worst team in the playoffs in round 1, but it seems like they'd need Jon Lester to recapture his youth to have any real shot of getting past the LDS.

For the life of me I don’t know how they ran away with the division.

Short season. I suspect this year's Cubs are a lot like last year's Cubs and they'd get exposed over 162 games.

Hot take. If the season was 162 games, the Reds run away with the central.
