Someone wake up Suarez and the offense will be fine.
The issue is going to be the bullpen all year long. Hopefully the offense gets healthy and the SP keeps it out of the relievers' hands.

It's natural to be down about these games, but there were two or three "at 'em" balls that, if they found green instead of leather, we'd all be yucking it up right now.
A short season will amplify the fact luck can be a killer in Baseball.
There is no denying the poor performance of the pen thus far. It is cause for concern.

I've decided "It" is David Bell. We definitely have "It". "It" is front and center.
Jim Mora is waiting on hold for a few games.
ahh, others beat me to the (sh) quip.
It's looking like "it" is the rona at this point.

Game out of first in late July, I like where this team is headed.

The Reds wouldn’t be in worse shape if they were haunted by Pennywise the dancing clown, beb.
File this thread as a red flag on my username.
I am trying to think of a more deflating series as a reds fans. Probably the end of season series against the pirates in 2013 when they flopped and you then knew what was coming in the wild card game.
"Today was the byproduct of us thinking we can come back from anything." - Joey Votto after blowing a 10-1 lead and holding on for the 12-11 win on 8/25/2010.
At least we knew that game was going to get played... not so sure about tomorrow's game. Next round of testing should come in tomorrow, and with two players already showing symptoms, there's likely more players pre-symptomatic. Could be looking worse than the Marlins.
Of course, MLB has no protocol in place for what happens when a large contingent of a team is infected, other than "hoping that doesn't happen."

I reiterate, until the Reds can consistently beat and have a winning record against the AL they will never field a team worth watching nor ever field a team that will ever win anything worth note.
