I would bet you'll see a lot more of this coming. People have been confined to their homes and not exposed to any germs outside their own four walls. Once you get around other people indoors (clubhouse) - germs are gonna germ.

It certainly seemed to get them focused for today's game as both homered.

That's... not ok? "Germs are gonna germ" during a pandemic?

If you put yourself in a position to get a cold it means you put yourself in a position to contract COVID-19. Anybody who gets a viral infection was not following adequate social distancing measures because by all accounts COVID-19 is at least as contagious as the common cold...

    Maybe. Maybe not.

Unfortunately if you live with someone else, you specifically can follow all protocols and still get the short end of the proverbial stick because they made one small mistake without even realizing it, thinking about it, and bringing that back into your home.

Germs spread in different ways. My point is that when you have 0 exposure to strange germs due to a lockdown - then you have to start going places and touching things again, no matter how hard you try to follow guidelines, you have exposure.

And your immune system just had a 5 month break of fighting off the slightest of issues.

Is "Moose and Senzel" the sequel to "Rocky and Bullwinkle?"

Joey Votto self-reported symptoms this morning, according to a source. He was placed on the IL. There is no positive test, source said. Based on what MLB has done, he'd miss at minimum, two days -- 3 games if they play today's DH.

I applaud Votto for self-reporting symptoms and hope other players see him and follow his smart and cautious lead.

MLB also needs to not overly punish him for it. If he tests negative twice, let him play immediately.

I believe this is how the #Reds feel. Problem is, MLB hasn't done that so far with the team, re: Moustakas, Senzel, Davidson. Davidson did not fail an MLB-administered test, only rapid test. All 3 had multiple negative tests.
