That's one of the points I've tried to make while being drowned out by the "he's overmanaging" drumbeat. If you fire Bell tomorrow, unless you wanna put someone like Riggleman back in the hot seat for god know's what reason, this is effectively what you can expect from the next guy as well. Platoons, shifts, and aggressive pitching changes.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

I was suprised to see Rizzo at first base with no mask on when runners were aboard. He had been chirping about the dangers of coming to Cincinnati a few days back . Par for the course I suppose, all talk.

Sonny Gray said the #Reds needed to play with "a little more give a ****" tonight. "We're here to play today."

So......MLB is playing up a blown call and one that can't be reviewed as a big Triple Play on their YouTube account.

Yep, that's the game in 2020. And the innovation we see probably isn't going to be a return to 1970s baseball.

Their game is big population areas - NY, Boston, Chicago, LA(sorta of), and the team that is hot. Chasing those ratings. I tend to avoid MLB media.

wait, so if the reds don't hire jim riggleman to replace david bell, every other candidate would be just like david bell? that is a hell of a take.

He's really hit the ball hard all year. A few unlucky breaks first few games.

Assuming that the Cubs and the cards are our real contenders in the Central, we are currently a half game behind the Cards.

FWIW, we are a game behind the Brewers.
