    Two nights in a row with a right hander on the mound where Bell has the complete compliment of players at his disposal.

    That fact that the start has been delayed and the game hasn't been straight up postponed makes me think they'll try harder this season than they usually do to get the games played on time

    I have to believe the crew in charge of making the decision sees a window somewhere or this would have already been scrapped for tonight. Both teams are traveling and you dont want to delay that if you know there is no shot.

    unless the radar (not the forecast, the actual radar) is way off, i don't see how this game can be played. they would have to start at like 11 pm unless i'm missing something on the future radar.

    I looked at iweathernet and the forecast last I checked had Cincy area clear at 9pm. Now how accurate that is I have no idea

    With the exception of maybe Winker, he should roll with this line-up for righty, lefty, underhand thrower or even Kent Tekulve.

    MLB, union making progress on deal that would allow for doubleheaders consisting of two seven-inning games, sources tell me and
    @Jaysonst
    . Would be for 2020 season only. Parties believe more doubleheaders will be necessary as schedule is adjusted. Idea is to preserve pitching.

    Awesome! Advantage Reds since they won’t need to use their bullpen during double headers.

    55-65% chance of rain 8-10pm I think that is the window they are looking at. Per Weather.com

    A long delay mid-game that scratches Castillo would be unfortunate.

    This is a another case where baseball is kind of going away from what makes sense with Corona. Before the restart I swear they said they wanted to avoid long periods where the teams would be in the clubhouse together. So it is just not make sense this year to be waiting through long delays.
