Teams are drafting power arms right and left and have been for a while now. Velocity is king.

I was thinking the same thing when 100 mph popped up

I think the guns are a little juiced, Mets fans were nothing DeGrom suddenly hitting 100 mph when he never did before
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

    Castillo has always thrown hard.

Still shocked the Marlins traded him for Dan Straily.

Could the extra tick be a Covid-season factor? Guys got extra time to strength-train, have fresh arms, and are thrown instantly into the summer heat?

    It was a steal.

But I haven’t ever seen him consistently approach 100. He hit it at least twice in that inning.

Castellanos hits the ball hard EVERY time he puts it in play. Pretty impressive.

Nick smokes a ball to RF, Tigers defense takes it away with scheming.

Winker works a 4 pitch walk.

Turnbull is clearly scared of Winker.

Yeah but not sure what that benefit to anyone would be.
