No self respecting Boomer would rate The Fonz ahead of Kramden and/or Norton. Not even in the same ballpark.

This is the second "weird" lineup that I remember Bell using and both times we've won for what that's worth. Nice win. These division games matter a lot with two spots up for grabs. I actually think we could be the second best team in the nl central but (and I can't believe I'm saying this) I really want the cards to get back on the field and show us what they have. The cards are the wildcard here. Cubs look to be the best and Pittsburgh looks to be the worst and we're somewhere in the middle.

Who? Wayne Granger? Wow, you're old!

He was my favorite at the time. Yes, I'm old too.

    Moose getting loose?
Second baseman Mike Moustakas is nearing a return to the field, manager David Bell said before the opener in Milwaukee. Moustakas, who has been sidelined with a bruised left quad, could return to the lineup by Tuesday, following the scheduled off-day on Monday.

Moustakas has played in seven games so far this season, logging five hits in 21 at-bats. He last appeared in a game on Aug. 4 at home vs. Cleveland.

Probably. Do you accept payment in semi-assuming quips?
