I think if Dino started that game better we'd win comfortably. A comeback from that 2nd inning was asking too much, but was great to see the bullpen working today. Think the Pirates are there for the taking tomorrow..Didn't feel like they thought they had that game won at any stage.

also, awesome that our catcher doesn't notice that the pitcher is tipping his pitches. he needs a "tip" from someone else to alert him that his pitcher is tipping. and by his own admission, by then it was too late.

I have wondered at times why it is that opposition clubs can pick up when a pitcher is tipping his pitches; but oftentimes the team that watches a pitcher's every pitch seems to be clueless as to this happening.

Winker can hit. There never should have been any doubt about that. And the DH helps him find a spot in the lineup. He should be fun to watch rake over the next few years.
