I like giving Suarez a day off and 2,3,4 in the order is what I asked for last night.

I think I would put the Farm Dog ahead of Galvis and Barnhart in the lineup but I can live with this one for tonight.

With those guys, my line-up would be

    Senzel
    Votto
    Castellanos
    Winker
    Galvis
    Farmer
    VanMeter
    Barnhart
    Akiyama
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

Reds have Gray, Bauer, and Castillo for these next games. Reds are 4-7 at home.

Reds need to win all these three home games against the Pirates. If they remain sub-.500 at home, I fear the season will eventually collapse on them.

Need Sonny to take charge tonight
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

I feel like Williams, Krall and Bell are really showing their hand on Alex Blandino. VanMeter has seriously struggled, then they turned to Colon; all the while Blandino is hanging out in Mason.

Mind you VanMeter has had all of 25 PA--and it doesn't sound as if Moustakas will be on the IL for an extended period of time--but it's hard to watch VanMeter accruing starts when he looks so danged bad. We know what Colon is, and it's nothing to get enthused over.

I wish they would also give JVM a day off.

Since JVM hits left handed, I’d figure Colon is there instead of Blandino.

However we cut it, Reds are short on infield depth. Glut of OFers, short of infielders beyond the starters.

It is puzzling why Colon over Blandino. Blandino at least showed some on base skills.

I think these next 3 are close to must win games. Would really turn around the season to go 3-0 and then sweep the 2 games against KC. Gotta have it against these weaker teams.

Maybe Williams is a UC Berkeley fan?
