    He has played very well defensively and considering he's seeing all of the MLB pitchers he's going to face for the first time ever, I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Especially with this Covid shortened season. The important thing tonight though, is the pleasant broadcast.

    The most likely explanation is it was Thom being Thom and mlb.tv brought the mic hot naturally. But it makes you wonder.
