I guess the secret to beating the Reds this year is to throw a right handed starter at them?
Then you get Shogo, Van Meter and Barnhart all in the same lineup.

Bell, wake up, try something different.
[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob

So Bell thinks it would have been helpful to tack a few runs on but he keeps JVM in the lineup batting 7th? I guess he also forgot that he put in the steal or hit and run with Galvis that cost us in the 9th. The players need to perform better but come on. He’s a poor manager.

Is there a reason to have Galvis that low in the that lineup other than he is having some success so don't mess with it?

They are ranked 12th in the league in R/G. Cincinnati needs to start hitting home runs at a much greater rate.
It’s hard to manufacture runs with so many automatic outs spread throughout the lineup. We only have about 6-7 players show up prepared to play this year. I had to give a few of them the benefit of the doubt to get that many.

I’d put him at the top of the order and drop Votto or Geno back to 6.

Disco is a career .131 hitter. Should just let him hit for himself lol. Atleast we can get some productive ABs from the pitchers with laying down an occasional sacrifice bunt. Bell is straight trash and needs to go. Things too much on everything. Acts like a right handed hitter has never faced a right handed pitcher. He sees a righy going and thinks immediately he has to roll with all lefties.

I think I'd rather have Farmer in at DH vs vAAAAnmeter.

And please, please, PLEASE, don't sub Jankowski in late in the game.
    Hope isn't a strategy

David Bell said "we have young players who are very close to helping us" at Prasco Park, mentioned Garcia, India, Stephenson. "The group at Prasco wouldn't be there if they weren't one step away from helping us."

Is there any word on Davidson and why he is invisible? did I miss something and he is on the IL or at Prasco?\

Baseball Reference last has him playing on 8/11.

Only way we’re getting a reprieve from VanMeter is Covid or an injury.
