At least T-Bone appears to have put that last start behind him.

Yeah he might yet turn into a decent little utility player down the line but there's no reason to keep running him out there.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

I’d still want JVM in the org, but he belongs in Prasco right now.

I am very curious how the Reds are determining who gets major league playing time right now. Aquino showed way more than JVM ever has last August, and he’s mostly off the roster based off a bad spring and winter ball? But JVM is showing absolutely no pulse over the last month plus and he’s still starting regularly. I am very curious what’s going on behind the scenes there.

Nothing against the kid but the Reds got off to an awful start last year and he started off hot in Louisville. As a result he was brought up and hit poorly other than the month of July. I just don’t think he is ready for MLB pitching. Doesn’t mean he can’t get there though.

Home plate umpire felt bad for Barnhart, so he gave him a gift.

Lots of players are having "off" seasons. Votto isn't the only one.

I think he did. It looks like it goes down a touch after the swing.
