In 4 games, the Reds got 17 hits (8 of those in one game) and 10 runs.

    Absolutely pathetic.

And that's without having to face their ace, Jack Flaherty.

This series was about as depressing as it gets. I just don’t see anyway to build around the controllable players on this team and build a playoff caliber team. There are just too many holes.

Face it, theses Reds suck. Once again. Dropped 3 of 4 to this Cards team. And this isn't the Cards of old, unfortunately it's the Reds of old.

This team is such a disappointment I’m lost for words.
I can’t believe I wasted my $50 and renewed my Redlegs Report subscription.

I see lots of potential here, but the decisions made for games are out of whack. Witness the lack ofusing one of your stud pitchers to get a draw in the series, and that's only one example.

I remember before David Bell was hired as the Reds new manager all the hype beforehand that the Rangers and Giants were also highly interested in him. I didn't believe that then and I still don't. I think that was all BS to make the Reds fans more acceptable of his hiring. Why would anyone be so interested in hiring anyone that hadn't managed since 2012 and that was in Louisville where Bell managed them to their worst record in their history. Here's his record:

    2009 Peoria 14-18
    2009 Carolina 65-74
    2010 Carolina 58-79
    2011 Carolina 53-86
    2012 Louisville 51-93

I wouldn't have considered him to be a scout.

Joey will not accept this 60-game season as indicative of anything. He’ll be around next year.
Votto is a Red for life.
No chance ANYONE would take in his contract for his production.
He’s my guy, but the great years, even the good years, seem long gone.

Why be like this, why can't something just be disappointing without reaching down into the crazy bag.

Reds now with a team batting average at .207. Lowest in MLB.

I wish the pitchers had to hit, unless they were pinch hit for, and there was one DH and one DF.

David Bell has never managed a team to even a winning record, much less a playoff team or even a good team. Yet somehow the Reds hire him as manager. How exactly does that happen? I would pay Barry Larkin whatever it took to get him to come on board.
Make him the highest paid manager in MLB history if u have to.
If not him, get Ned Yost.
