    This rookie ump is paying too much attention to calling swing or no swing(let the down the line umps worry about that), and not enough attention to seeing if the pitch went thru the strike zone or not.

    There is absolutely nothing to indicate a lack of leadership or urgency. It is completely unfounded. It’s what fans say out of frustration when they see bad baseball.

    Batting slumps become contagious and get magnified by pressing. That is the common reason for these kinds of team slumps.
