I bet it'll be postponed.
I hope we have baseball tonight.
If the Brewers don't show up, it should be a forfeit, I agree.
I am not taking a side on the issue either way, but MLB can't just allow this to happen without a forfeit.
It just sets a precedent for the players to do this all the time, and they will if there's no consequences.
It's not fair to the Reds to make them play a double header if it's not a forfeit.
It's also not fair to the pennant race if the game is just eliminated. I will just leave it at that. No comment on the issue
they are trying to raise awareness to.
If the Brewer's club still wants to pay them for the forfeit, that's ok.
[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob
Nov. 13, 2007: One of the greatest days in Reds history: John Allen gets the boot!
"In our sundown perambulations of late, through the outer parts of Brooklyn, we have observed several parties of youngsters playing 'base', a certain game of ball. Let us go forth awhile, and get better air in our lungs. Let us leave our close rooms, the game of ball is glorious"

Bell apparently said Garcia will be a regular starter. Galvis will be a super sub around the infield.
If Jose is up, by all means play him, sitting does him no good.
There's anybody else find this ironic that Josh hader is the one who said this? With all he's done in his shady past
Crazy Reds Fan
There's zero chance the MLB makes the Brewers forfeit. ZERO. Even Manfred isn't that stupid.
I wish they would, though, because the Reds could really use an easy win!

Did Hader do anything more than make some bad social media posts in high school? I thought that was the whole story with him.

Yeah, MLB would step in and postpone it.Craig Calcaterra

If the Brewers do decide not to play, the big question is what the Reds do. Do they also make a statement that they are sitting out in solidarity or do they accept/demand a forfeit, thereby undercutting what the Brewers do?
Daily pregame Zoom session with #Brewers manager Craig Counsell has been pushed back an hour per another Brewers beat writer. I don't think the game gets played and probably forces the Reds into the unfair position of whether to accept the forfeit.

Please postpone! Reds are terrible right now and could use a time out. Like their chances a lot better later in a makeup game.

I can't see MLB forcing a forfeit, it would create a major headache.
Regardless, it should be the Reds' decision on whether or not to allow a doubleheader tomorrow. With a doubleheader already set for Saturday, it just creates more roster issues that they should have time to adjust to.
