I would rather hold onto him especially if Bauer resigns. What the Reds have that nobody else has is the guy from Driveline. That may be enough to get him to sign for less money than the Dodgers, Astros, or Yankees will inevitably throw at him.
I do think they miss his bat and glove right now. He's quickly turned into the AJ Green of Reds though.

Eduardo Rodriguez’s post-covid heart condition would like to weigh in on this conversation as well

In all honesty, the one thing that I'm not going to do is hold Senzel up to any standard right now, or, honestly, for the rest of this year. I realize that some people don't think COVID is a serious illness, but for some, it's had some legitimate, scary, lasting effects. So as far as I'm concerned, I hope he comes back quickly, but if he doesn't, I just hope the young man is healthy and has no long-term effects of it.

Hoping Senzel is able to come back as 29th player for the doubleheader on Friday.
After that, Senzel can stay and Reds can drop a pitcher and live with 13. They have a few off days and can add an extra pitcher as 29th man for the next doubleheader on Monday September 14.

Is Bell indicating that Senzel isn't being forthcoming with them?“It’s still a build-up process for Nick. It takes time to be able to jump into this part of the season,” Reds manager David Bell said. “We have to make sure his body is completely built up. If not, you can really expose a player to an injury. We’ve seen it a lot this year already. We have to do what’s best for Nick and encourage him to give us the proper feedback so that we can work together and get him back at the right time.”

So i wonder if the Reds activate Senzel for tonight's game?

I think Bell is talking about the difficulties of some players to bounce back from being infected with covid-19, as in the case of Yoan Macada.
Months later, 25-year-old infielder Yoán Moncada is still affected by COVID-19..."It’s like a daily battle to find that strength, that energy to go through the day."
