RIP Mimi Parker, drummer for Low

Dies of ovarian cancer at 55. She and Alan Sparhawk were the core of Low, a Duluth band that started out like Galaxie 500 but went way deeper into slowing down and vocal harmonies. She sang the sweet high harmonies. Their singing was like a Minnesota version of Emmy Lou Harris and Gram Parsons.
They sang honest songs about honest emotional turmoil.
I listened to Lullaby tonight from their first album I could live in hope. Thank you for sharing your gifts and may your passage be peaceful .

Incredible band that released some of their best music with their last 2-3 records. I feel horrible for her partner and the rest of the band. RIP.
