I don't know who is available in bullpen for today. Really need a strong game from Castillo.

Word on the street is they're trying to complete a trade to bring reed back to pitch the sixth and seventh inning today

Nice inning. Ideally would have been a touch more pitch efficient.

Castellanos didn’t miss that one by much, damn
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

I thought it was gone. Winker and Votto go quietly.

Luis needs to have his best game today. 3 out of 4 from the Cubs would be huge.

Castillo throws to wild ones to Heyward to go behind 2-0, then 3-0, then 3-2, and then throws a great pitch that just dips below the zone and Heyward takes it for ball 4. If he just wouldn't have started out 2-0, he would have been fine and saved himself about 6 pitches!

Very heady play by Garcia there.
