He has had some bad defense behind him this year and poor run support. Today he has made 3 bad pitches that has cost him 4 runs. But the offense yet again is asleep so it may not matter.
He’s just nothing special. I’d be pleased if we traded him for a decent return.

Oddly enough the long ball hadn’t been the issue for Castillo this year unlike last year, he’d only allowed one before this game. But a blast by Schwarber and two GABP specials will ruin your day fast.

All true yet my statement is as well. He doesn’t have the killer instinct you see with aces yet. Hope he develops it soon.
