Not really sure I get this one, but I doubt they gave up anything of value. Solid bench bat I guess.

Does Goodwin make any sense. Where would he play. We can't get Aquino up here now so they add another outfielder

.795 OPS over the last season and a half (quarter really) is bad?
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

I’ll take him over Payton for now at least. Can’t imagine they gave up much.

He’s a pretty good hitter but a weird fit unless they’ve totally lost faith in Shogo.

Doubtful. Shogo has made some strides at the plate and has flashed excellent defense. Is Goodwin Shogo/Senzel insurance? Sure.

Saying "bingo" that the Reds have totally lost faith in Shogo after his first 100 abs in MLB is ridiculous.

    What strifes at the plate?

He doesn’t possessed MLB power in that swing.

I am rooting for the guy: but so far I don’t even remotely see it.

He did look better this weekend. I certainly think he deserves more time to adjust.
