Who did show up? The idea is that people peak at different times. If Votto finishes the season solidly, good for him.

Feels so good being able to tune into this dumpster fire every night. We’re so lucky to have the great David Bell. He’s such a baseball genius. Good thing fans aren’t allowed at the park, those 20 fans per game wouldn’t matter anyway.

David Bell is a baseball genius. Can you imagine how bad this team would be without his stellar managerial skills?

Been watching the Padres recently and that team is fun to watch. Hustle, slapping the ball the other way against the shift, energy, confidence, first to third on the bases...they're fun to watch right now.

Bell has been waiting all year to put Lorenzen in CF, now he has his chance.
    What a joke, honestly.
[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob

I guess Davidson has to pitch 2 innings?

Even the Reds best reliever Matt Davidson can't stop the Cardinals tonight.

I wonder how many pitches they will let Davidson throw.
He's not fooling anyone, that's for sure.

Edit: after I say that, he gets a CArdinal to hit into a double play.

Another stellar performance from our pitching staff. A 23 hitter (and counting).

And to think this was a home game.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

So depressing. At least Votto is looking better.
