On the bright side, the game is virtually certain to go better than last night.

Yes, other than that, how was the play Mrs. Lincoln?

    You misspelled "condolences".

Maybe we will get the chance to watch Goodwin’s superb base running again tonight.

Other than Barnhardt yet again, I'm ok with this lineup. 8th seems like the right spot for Shogo until he gets more consistent.

I think Shogo makes more sense in the 9 hole over Tucker in the rare case one of them reach base ahead of Votto.

I'm not surprised Casali isn't in the lineup. Dude took a heater flush on a cross up. I thought he broke his hand or wrist. Dude caught the rest of the game and was a bright spot at the plate. Quickly becoming one of my favorite Reds. He needs a nickname. Anyone with any ideas?

I do think they'll score some runs tonight, Hudson and Kim were tough matchups. Now whether our starter can avoid being lit up for the 4th straight day, that is the real question...
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Do you want your two slowest base runners nest to each other in the order, or split up? With Shogo 8th, neither Joey or Tucker will be ahead of him to slow his advance.

So, anyone surprised it's Goodwin in CF and Shogo in LF? I figured it to be the other way around.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

Just was going to post the same thing. Shogo did look very good in LF earlier in the season.
