Never doubted him for a second
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Iggy didn't get the 3rd strike call on a pitch with perfect location, so he had to go high side gas to get the job done!

Garcia looked overmatched against Gallegos, sadly.

I would've ph Galvis there. Maybe same result, but Garcia not quite ready for these big time at bats.

Looking at his numbers he’s not the only one

Nice game for Shogo. Maybe just having less pressure at the bottom of the order is best while he gets used to baseball over here.

    Re: 9-2-20 Reds vs Cardinals

What was the point of bringing Garcia up? If we’re still trying to win and I guess we are since we traded on Monday why play him? Galvis is a better hitter than him today? If we’re trying to develop young guys in a playoff run why not bring up TS? It makes no sense.

True, striking out to him isn't really anything to be ashamed of, but it just wasn't a competitive at-bat at all.

    Shogo gets on.
