I find it quite easy to blame them for lots of things.

Nice inning for Mahle, even a couple of grounders.
While I agree that’s why they haven’t done it. To me when the writing is on the wall you need to make a change. Heck, the padres who are actually winning just replaced both of there catchers at the deadline.

Sorry. I would make a change tomorrow.

Exactly right. You can be stubborn and insist that you're right and the ump is wrong, but you'll still be out.

My fear is Reds will keep Barnhart and trade Casali this coming winter. Lefty righty balance with Stephenson.

But we’ll see, Stephenson obviously needs to play.

He's starting to give me Jay Bruce flashbacks. Seems to disappear for long stretches.

He’s been pretty bad since his hot start. I saw on Twitter that’s he’s batting like .180 over his last 80 or so AB’s. His hot streak lasted 50 AB’s.

Starting the season with Barnhart and Casali platooning was the smart move, they both have a long history of being solid MLB catchers. But now is time to give Stephenson playing time to help him develop for next year.

Nice double play and another quick inning for Mahle.

I think we were still in the first inning at this point last night.

If things continue as recently, Reds will make that move. I doubt they are ready yet. Let’s see if they survive the next road trip, which is questionable.
