The Cubs are ‘loud and obnoxious’ — in Kris Bryant’s own words — but he says it works for them

I assume Moustakas is not 100% healthy.

He’s a lot better than this usually.

I had such high hopes for Moose when he drove in 4 on opening day. Such a disappointment since.

Mahle with a horrible pitch and it's 2-0 Cardinals.

    9-2-20 Reds vs Cardinals

If they ever do a Tyler Mahle bobblehead it has to go down and to the left.

That’s basically separates a #5 starter from a #1 starter. They both pitch well most of the time. The #5 just makes more turd pitches over the course of a game.

I don't see any way they won't give up on Barnhart at the end of the year if this continues. Barnhart's 2020 OPS is 100 lower than Billy Hamilton's career OPS and it'll only cost $5 million to dump him.

Just hanging too many sliders. Gotta miss off the plate with those types of pitches.

Of course it's actually 2-1 Cardinals.

If they think Stephenson is the long term solution at catcher I think you keep Casali as a backup and let TS hit against both righties and lefties. I don’t really see a need for TB.

Just good hitting that you rarely see the reds do. That’s the difference right there.

Can they just collectively yell “uncle” and walk off the field?
“The crows seem to be calling my name,” thought Caw.

Yea, I wasn't going to nitpick and correct you on 2-0 because the game thread is a ghost town anyhow..
[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob

Horrible angle by Goodwin there. That should've been a single.
