I couldn't see the ball in the replay, and I knew exactly where Farmer had thrown it.

Clairvoyant Farmer would have saved himself an error, but he did't want to hurt Joey by pegging him between the eyes, so he threw it safely high, but still catch-able!

Pirates announcers wondering, before the drive, why the Reds outfielders were playing so close, instead of a no doubles approach.

Reds 1.5 games out of a playoff spot.

And the team that is currently 8th is playing the Dodgers this weekend.

In Game 1, Nick Castellanos tied Jose Iglesias and Freddy Galvis for 28th place among Hispanic players on the Reds all-time home run list.

(Rather than type out each player's country of origin, I am using their representative flags -- for example, the flag of Cuba for Tony Perez. Sometimes they show up, and sometimes they convert into code. If the flags aren't visible, please let me know.)

    1. Tony Perez [🇨🇺] - 287
    2. Eugenio Suarez [🇻🇪] - 151
    3. Dave Concepcion [🇻🇪] - 101
    4. Leo Cardenas [🇨🇺] - 72

    8. Felipe Lopez [🇵🇷] - 41
    9. Bo Diaz [🇻🇪] - 39
    10. Javier Valentin [🇵🇷] - 34
    11. Cesar Cedeño [🇩🇴] - 30
    12. Mariano Duncan [🇩🇴] - 28
    12. Jose Peraza [🇻🇪] - 28
    14. Jose Guillen [🇩🇴] - 27
    15. Juan Castro [🇲🇽] - 25
    16. Ramon Hernandez [🇻🇪] - 24
    17. Eduardo Perez [🇺🇸/🇵🇷] - 23
    18. Yasiel Puig [🇨🇺] - 22
    19. Alex Ochoa [🇺🇸/🇨🇺] - 20
    20. Luis Quiñones [🇵🇷] - 19
    20. Benito Santiago [🇵🇷] - 19
    20. D'Angelo Jimenez [🇩🇴] - 19
    20. Alex Gonzalez [🇻🇪] - 19
    20. Aristides Aquino [🇩🇴] - 19
    25. Juan Encarnacion [🇩🇴] - 16
    26. Miguel Cairo [🇻🇪] - 13
    27. Roberto Kelly [🇵🇦] - 12
    28. Jose Iglesias [🇨🇺] - 11

I love a CF who plays Shallow. The dinkers are what kill you.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

I miss that about Billy Hamilton. Not enough to wish he was still their CF, but it was amusing to see, especially when attending a game in person.

Interesting. I can see them on my phone, but didn't see them on my computer yesterday. (I used to be able to see them on my computer, though.)
