Casali is working a nice AB up there.

    No joke, Casali for starter.

Oh, the Pirates are awful. An historically bad team. That certainly doesn't mean the Reds won't manage to find a way to split the series or worse.

Brault might only go one more inning, at this rate.

Hate to give any props to the Cards, but the difference between the Cards and Pirates is palatable regardless of the names on the roster.

    Maybe it is the coaching.

I have always preferred him....but I saw him those last couple outings while Tucker was out....he was moving noticeably slower that last game or 2. I am not sure he can handle a primary role....or more than 50%.

The baseball gods love seeing Curt Casali in pain.

Even their hitters with a track record of success are not only struggling their slashlines are insanely horrendous, it’s like they collectively went all in on tanking together.

Castillo has to guard against losing concentration with his 3 run lead.

not sure the contact that was made....but it could not have been clean, or he would still be down trying to find a way to breathe....

    Maybe so.

Ultimately I just want Tyler Stephenson up with the big league club.

At this point I feel like Bruce screaming for Aquino.

the day games seem to really highlight the lack of fans....this looks like a Saturday noon game between Rice and SMU

    I was gonna say...

This seems like the typical September daytime game in Pittsburgh when the Reds come to town.
