The Reds postseason odds have gone up 32.2 percentage points in the last 7 days. They're up to 42.1% in today's forecast

Yes, I assume they did not want to pitch him on back-to-backs on the 6th and that was the day the Reds had terrible luck in the 9th after leading the whole game. They had the 7th off, the 8th they never held a lead, the 9th they shut out the Cubs without him, the 10th they lost the lead early, the 11th Luis went a complete game and the 12th they went down big in the 6th.
I guess the 6th and 12th I could understand him being used, but I really do not see an argument for him pitching in the other games. It is not like Raisel pitched poorly on the 6th and then on the 12th it would have been really abnormal to see your set-up man in the 6th with your team already down.
It may have been noted elsewhere but Giolito is pitching tonight, and if so that means then Reds will miss him...

Tim McCarver: Baseball Quotes
I remember one time going out to the mound to talk with Bob Gibson. He told me to get back behind the batter, that the only thing I knew about pitching was that it was hard to hit.

The White Sox hit the crap out of the ball and are a lot of fun to watch, but I keep waiting for them to come back to earth a little bit. I don't think their pitching would hold up over a 162-game season so maybe they're due for a little course correction this weekend. On the other hand, they could make GABP look like a little league field.
"In our sundown perambulations of late, through the outer parts of Brooklyn, we have observed several parties of youngsters playing 'base', a certain game of ball. Let us go forth awhile, and get better air in our lungs. Let us leave our close rooms, the game of ball is glorious"
-Walt Whitman
They really have a "good" freaky lineup. Tim Anderson and Madrigal are ball-in-play batting average phenoms. Abreu (my leader for MVP) and Jimenez are legit middle of the order sluggers. Robert is as high ceiling as they come. Plus Moncada and Grandal are no slouches, despite their off year.
Lookout!
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Believe it or not, the White Sox actually have a similar xOBA as the Reds this year. They do hit the ball well, but have been finding holes more than they should.
Their pitching is a bit suspect without Giolito going.
Reds are taking 2/3. Heard it here first!
