It's so hard for this to sink in. The season was such a struggle until two weeks ago and suddenly we're in. I can't wait until Wednesday.

Yes those are extra 2 games the Carde have not made up are the only thing keeping those teams alive

Votto’s quote during his postseason interview is an instant classic.

These guys are pumped and most of all, they’re feeling CONFIDENT. Aaahhhh this is so amazing.

Do we get the hangover lineup tomorrow or do they push for second place?

Yes going into a short playoff series with A rotation of Bauer, Castillo and Gray has to make them feel confident

I think they will still play to win. Only real difference would be Bauer not starting Sunday

Padres with a walkoff 3 run homer so that keeps the Reds in front of Giants

So with 2 days left here is we stand seeding wise.

Cardinals 29-27 (.001 winning percentage in front of Reds)
    Marlins 30-28
    Reds 30-28
    Giants 29-29

Phillies and Brewers still barely alive

Where do we play in round one? We're in Texas, are we not? Big park, small park?
(Referring to Jack Hannahan signing with a Korean team)
Since there are no teams on the moon, I guess South Korea's far enough from Cincinnati to satisfy me.

Shouldn't Gray start on Sunday and go 3 innings or so? It's his day and he wouldn't pitch until Thursday or Friday next week.

Did you hear that call? Perfect for the Bizarro 2020 season. The Giants TV guy didn't realize the game was over. He was like, "So the Padres take the lead, and ... oh... well... they walk it off." A team getting a walk-off HR in the 7th inning in the opponent's park. Yep, 2020.
Rounding third and heading for home...

Yes Gray should start because then Bauer starts game 1 Wednesday on extra rest, Castillo game 2 Thursday on regular rest and If we play game 3 on Friday Gray would also be on regular rest.

And for this first series they can use Mahle out of the bullpen too as he will be fully rested
