On a more positive note the Reds are now 13-15 on the road. Winning PCT of .464. They finish at Minnesota for three games, tough, to round out the road season.

Last year Reds were 34-47 on the road, .419 winning PCT. So Reds have improved on the road.

Problem is Reds are 8-11 at home, they were 41-40 home last season. Reds have a chance to exceed that mark too, but need a very good homestand coming up.

The Giants are 2 games ahead of the Reds for a playoff spot.

The Reds are .5 games back of the Brewers and Rockies. Tied with the Mets.

That’s it. If you think the Giants will fall back to earth, it’s there for one of those teams to grab the last spot.

Not saying I have faith in the Reds...but someone has to take that spot.

You bet! Will they? Not likely.

Reds have had 2 three game winning streaks. But they've had 2 four game and 2 three game losing streaks.

If they're going to get hot and go on a run...no time like the present.

Basically, Reds need to win at about a .700 clip to have any chance. They really haven't done that for a sustained period of time for a long period of time.
