Just sweep the double header today, and lets evaluate tonight. The Cardinals have a DH also today.

When the Reds were down 5-3 yesterday in about the 5th, I stopped watching. I had zero faith in them to come back. I had decided I was done. Losing 2 out of 3 to the Cards in a must series was the coffin lid shutting. Much to my surprise, I see the crawler during the Bengals game that they won 10-5. I’m like what the heck.

So today, my Reds mood needle has swung back to caring. I’m so stupid. Why do I care? Reds, I can’t quit you.

It's great to be talking playoffs and I have to feel IF they were able to have a complete spring training and normal schedule Reds probably would have ironed out some things and be in the running at this time.

Marlins sweep a DH vs. Phillies and are now in #2 spot in East. It would help the Reds if the Marlins fell back to earth, but it’s kind of hard to root against them.

If the Marlins make it in they will win the whole thing.

Cards lost game one, and are losing game two. If the Reds hold on to sweeping the Pirates tonight, that would put them half a game behind the Cards.

Just keep winning. Three wins is nice, but they need to win more to bank this as real progress. Get the full sweep against the Pirates and then look to climb up to .500 this weekend against the White Sox (easier said than done).
